I was going to blog about Christ’s scars from the cross being visible in heaven and when he showed Himself on earth and the challenges this presents to much of our theology about suffering and heaven. However Brian Bunny has his own site so I wanted to give this a link and show the latest edition which is just great.

Although I’m not sure I should be usurping Christ’s death.
Apropos of nothing, I met some people in town today handing out tracts. I politely turned one down, explaining that I didn’t like tracts. He told me that my not liking it was irrelevant, because God liked it. I suggested that there were other ways to spread the Gospel, especially through relationship, and added that I’m a youth worker and regularly preach. He didn’t so much listen to this,as entirely ignore it, and went on to tell me how Hell was just horrible.
Anyway, the point being, he had a sign saying, “HERE YE THE WORD OF THE LORD.” And I thought, “Well, no, not like that I don’t. Because I don’t speak a FOUR HUNDRED YEAR OLD DIALECT, NOT SPOKEN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. So no, I don’t hear it that clearly just now.” Idiot.
